Your role exists for a reason: there is work that needs to be accomplished. Those who perform their tasks competently are commendable, but those who redefine excellence within their roles are exceptional. This sentiment echoes a lesson from a former manager of mine, who often stated, "You are compensated for your insights."

Merely following instructions is insufficient. Alongside executing tasks, you are valued for your knowledge, skills, and the ability to contribute innovative ideas. In essence, shift your focus from a task-oriented mindset to one centered on problem-solving. Embracing this perspective will not only elevate your status as an employee but also enhance your overall job satisfaction.
